Eligibility Criteria :

• Educational Qualification :
• For Lab Technician : Degree (10+2+3 pattern) in science in concerned discipline (Chemistry/Bio-Chemistry/ MLT/Botany)/Degree in pharmacology or B.Pharm from a recognized University (b) One year experience in Laboratory technology in a Lab of a recognized Hospital/Institution OR 12th (10+2) class or equivalent with Science subject from a recognized Board/ University with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of minimum one year duration from a recognized University/Institution and  Two years experience in a laboratory of recognized Hospital /Institution.
• For Lab Attendant : 12th class or equivalent with Science subjects from recognized Board/University and Certificate course from recognized University/Institutes in Computer Application.
• Nationality : Indian
• Age Limit : 25 years

Application Fee : A Demand Draft for Rs.100/- for OBC/General candidates and Rs.20/- for SC/ST candidates, which has to be drawn in favour of Central Council for Research In Siddha, payable at Chennai.

The Central Council for Research in Siddha chiefly facilitates researchers in Siddha medicines and manufacture of conventional medicines for the treatment at the National Institute of Siddha. The institute is an autonomous body under the Department of AYUSH of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India established with the prime aim to impart post-graduate education and research in Siddha medicine, CCRS Headquar located in Chennai. CCRS also monitors all the periphery research centres located in Puducherry, Palayamkottai, Mettur, Anna Nagar and Thiruvananthapuram. Presently, 70 medicinal plants are being grown and maintained in the CCRS campus and planting 270 more such plants in this scheme is under way.
