JEE MAIN 2015: EXAM ANALYSIS FOR THE ONLINE TESTS OR CBT ON APRIL 10 AND 11
The online or Computer Based Test (CBT) for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2015, got conducted yesterday and today that is on 10 April and 11 April 2015. The exam got conducted using the Local Area Network (LAN) to make it safe, secure and uninterrupted. Candidates who appeared for today’s JEE Main Online Exam could review or re-answer any question at any point of time during the examination. The JEE Main Online exam 2015 got held twice a day i.e. in two shifts. The first shift of JEE Main Online was from 09.30 – 12.30 hours while the timing for the second shift was from 14.00 – 17.00 hours [IST]. This was the first ever online JEE Main Exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Over 13 lakh candidates got registered for the entrance exam out of which more than 3 lakhstudents appeared for the CBT or the online mode of the entrance exam for the admissions to various B Engg and B Tech courses. The online exam conducted on 10 April 2015 had quite a tough physics paper. As per the students the Mathematics paper was the toughest for the candidates. Candidates got a great advantage as they could change their answer at any point of time before final submission. Apparently the JEE Main Cutoff is expected to be 125 marks for the candidates under the general category. While the exam conducted today, that is on 11 April 2015, was an average one with the Maths, Physics paper being tough sections while the Chemistry paper was the easiest. Students could complete the paper in time and are hopeful to do better in the next level, that is the JEE Advanced exam.
The JEE Main Exam 2015 Paper Pen-Based Exam was conducted on 4 April 2015. A total of 13.03 lakh candidates are going to appear for JEE Main Exam 2015 this year. Till now, JEE main paper has got mixed reactions from the students. Results for the same is expected to be released by 27 April 2015. The next level that is the JEE Advanced 2015 Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM while the JEE (Advanced) 2015 Paper 2 will be conducted from 2PM to 5 PM.
