From last few year, we are observing that large number of candidates are getting recruited by PSU through GATE examination score. There are total 251 PSU in India and among them about 50 PSU conducts recruitment through GATE score. Every individual PSU releases separate notification for its notification through GATE. There are some top PSUs which also recruits candidates via GATE like BPCL, HPCL, BHEL, BAARC, IOCL and ONGC etc. Nowadays these PSUs are recruiting trainees as Management Trainees, Executive trainees, Engineering trainees and Assistant Managers etc.

In current year (2014) ONGC has released the notification for the recruitment of 745 graduate engineers in Engineering Science and Geo Physics discipline. There are some other PSUs like NHPC which have released notification for 87 recruitment through GATE 2015.
