The online or Computer Based Test (CBT) for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2015, got conducted yesterday and today that is on 10 April and 11 April 2015. The exam got conducted using the Local Area Network (LAN) to make it safe, secure and uninterrupted. Candidates who appeared for today’s JEE Main Online Exam could review or re-answer any question at any point of time during the examination.  The JEE Main Online exam 2015 got held twice a day i.e. in two shifts. The first shift of JEE Main Online was from 09.30 – 12.30 hours while the timing for the second shift was from 14.00 – 17.00 hours [IST]. This was the first ever online JEE Main Exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Over 13 lakh candidates got registered for the entrance exam out of which more than 3 lakhstudents appeared for the CBT or the online mode of the entrance exam for the admissions to various B Engg and B Tech courses. The online exam conducted on 10 April 2015 had quite a tough physics paper. As per the students the Mathematics paper was the toughest for the candidates. Candidates got a great advantage as they could change their answer at any point of time before final submission. Apparently the  JEE Main Cutoff is expected to be 125 marks for the candidates under the general category. While the exam conducted today, that is on 11 April 2015, was an average one with the Maths, Physics paper being tough sections while the Chemistry paper was the easiest. Students could complete the paper in time and are hopeful to do better in the next level, that is the JEE Advanced exam.
The JEE Main Exam 2015 Paper Pen-Based Exam was conducted on 4 April 2015. A total of 13.03 lakh candidates are going to appear for JEE Main Exam 2015 this year. Till now, JEE main paper has got mixed reactions from the students. Results for the same is expected to be released by 27 April 2015. The next level that is the JEE Advanced 2015 Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM while the JEE (Advanced) 2015 Paper 2 will be conducted from 2PM to 5 PM.

JEE Mains 2015JEE Main Exam 2015.  JEE (Main) 2015, the first step for admission to IITs as well as NITs, IIITs and other prestigious engineering institutes in the country, did not throw up any surprises for the candidates who appeared in the offline mode of test conducted today by the CBSE.
Over 13 lakh candidates have registered for the offline and online mode of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2015 divided into Paper I and Paper II (BArch/Planning).
According to candidates, Paper I of the JEE Main Exam, held in the morning session, followed the pattern of questions on Physics, Chemistry and Maths asked in previous years. Paper I (BE/BTech) of JEE (Main) is an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced) that candidates have to appear in for admission to the undergraduate engineering programmes at IITs. (JEE Main Exam 2015: Get answer keys of JEE Main 2015 exam)
The multiple-choice questions — 30 each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths — were conceptual and analytical as well as balanced, the candidates said. Paper II (BArch/Planning) was held in the afternoon session from 2 pm to 5 pm. Executive Director of JEE Main Rajbir Singh told PTI that the tests were conducted smoothly.
Priyanshu Sharma, a civil engineering aspirant, said the difficulty level of the paper was as per normal standard.”The paper was a balanced one with the difficulty levels being in accordance with the traditional pattern. I could not time my paper properly though. Difficulty level of questions on Physics and Chemistry was moderate,” he said.
Neha Bhardwaj, who appeared in the test in Gurgaon, said, “Physics and chemistry questions were fine. I found the mathematics portion a bit tough and analytical.”The online test of Paper 1 will be held on April 10 and 11, for which about 1.8 lakh candidates have registered themselves.

IIT JEE Main Online Exam Review for 11April 2015. The IIT JEE Main Online Exam for admissions to IITs and other engineering has concluded today. According to candidate Shreastha the paper conducted on 11 April was an average one with the Maths, Physics paper being the toughest while the Chemistry paper was the easiest. She said that she was glad that she could complete the paper in time and hopes to make it to the next stage which is the JEE Advanced exam.
According to experts, the entire paper pattern was on expected lines. All the three subjects carried 30 questions each. The candidates who wish to clear the exams need to have basic understanding of concepts to make it to the next stage which is JEE Advanced 2015. According to experts, the topics which were included were from Calculus, Algebra, Co-ordinate Geometry, Matrices etc. Similarly, the other two subjects had also questions from different topics
It is expected that the results will be declared on April 27. However, now that the JEE Main Exam is over, candidates need to prepare for the JEE Advanced Exam will be held on May 24, 2015.  The JEE Advanced 2015 Paper 1 will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM while the JEE (Advanced) 2015 Paper 2 will be conducted from 2PM to 5 PM. It is important for the candidates appearing to prepare for JEE Advanced to go through the IIT question banks now.
According to reports, the states which witnessed decline in registrations include Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana and Kerala while the number of applicants from states like Goa, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu increased.
